IT Support Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 32,000 per year Requirements: • At least 2 years experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, or Desktop Support environment • At least 2 years experience with Active Directory • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11 • Experience administering Active Directory • Exposure to mobile device management and device deployment • Experience building hardware, creating images, and deploying software • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure • Commitment to delivering a high-quality support service • Ability to commute reliably to Crickhowell, Powys, or plan to relocate before starting • Desirable: experience administering Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint • Desirable: knowledge of MDM platforms such as Intune • Desirable: experience supporting RingCentral or similar telephony systems • Desirable: basic VMware troubleshooting knowledge • Desirable: understanding of ITIL principles and support best practices Responsibilities: • Provide technical support to users across our business, resolving hardware and software issues • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint • Support and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems • Manage mobile devices, including procurement, deployment, allocation, and SIM management • Build, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and associated hardware • Create and maintain operating system images and software deployment packages • Administer Active Directory, including user accounts and permissions • Support and administer mobile device management solutions • Assist with RingCentral telephony administration and user support • Troubleshoot VMware-related issues and escalate them where appropriate • Maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, and asset records • Monitor and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle • Participate in planned out-of-hours patching and system maintenance • Join our IT on-call rota to provide occasional out-of-hours support Technologies: • Active Directory • Hardware • Support • ITIL • Microsoft 365 • Mobile • SharePoint • VMware • Windows • Office 365 • Network More: We are NoteMachine, one of the UKs leading ATM and cash services providers, operating more than 14,000 ATMs and processing over £10 billion in cash transactions annually. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid-remote role paying £30,000–£32,000 per year, with an on-call allowance.
