Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching credential. • A strong academic background with a degree in Fine Art, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Textiles, or a related creative discipline. • Proven track record or demonstrated capacity to deliver outstanding Art teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5/A-Level experience is a distinct advantage). • Deep understanding of national curriculum art standards, portfolio building techniques, and assessment criteria (e.g., AQA, Edexcel). • Exceptional classroom management, communication skills, and a genuine passion for unlocking creative talent in young people. Salary & Benefits • Pay Scale: Outer London MPS/UPS pay scale (commensurate with experience), with potential TLR opportunities available for suitable candidates. • Extensive continuous professional development (CPD), tailored mentoring, and opportunities for gallery visits and studio network links.
