Head - Finance & Accounts - FMCG/Manufacturing

Role: Head Finance & Accounts Role Purpose: To lead the Finance & Accounts function, drive financial planning and control, monitor business profitability, and ensure accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance. The role will work closely with the Business Head, Company Promoters and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights, optimize costs, strengthen internal controls, and support profitable growth across GT, MT, E-commerce and Export businesses. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation of annual budgets in collaboration with various department heads as Factory, marketing, sales, E-Com etc. - Presenting MIS on Monthly basis to promoters on company's profitability for GT and E-Com business. Analysing variance analysis of budget Vs Actual. - Expertise in SAP daily operations. Supporting departments in resolving the issues faced by them. - Tracking yield of the products being delivered by the production department. - Ensuring the profitability of Export Sales. Sale price negotiations. - Reviewing accounts receivable and payable on monthly basis. - Finalisation of Balance sheet and P&L as per IND AS. - Reviewing and approving the dealer incentive calculations as per scheme circulars as issued by the Sales Department. - Lead and develop the finance team and strengthen finance processes. - Ensuring the marketing budget is not overspend. - Ensuring the correct accounting of the Ecom sales warehouse, state wise. Reconciliation of amount received from various marketplace order wise. - Ensuring implementation of observations if any pointed by Internal/Statutory Auditors. - Ensure strong financial controls, governance, compliance (GST/TDS/TCS) and statutory reporting. - Implementation of system for GST refunds in Export. Desired Candidate Profile: - Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, product costing, yield analysis, budgeting and profitability management. Ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations. - Proven experience in preparing and presenting MIS and financial reports to senior management or promoters. - Hands-on expertise in SAP and financial reporting systems. - Working knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS, TCS, statutory compliance and audit management. - Experience managing financial operations across GT, MT, E-commerce and export business channels. - Strong understanding of marketplace reconciliations, export transactions and GST refund processes.
