Senior Tech Lead - Server and Storage

Job Summary

A highly skilled professional with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in VMware data centre virtualization and Linux administration (Ubuntu & RHEL) with additional expertise in Windows operations. Familiarity with cloud computing is considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Technical expertise and hands-on experience in managing the VMware Data centre Virtualization Technical expertise and hands-on experience in the Linux Operating System (Ubuntu & RHEL), and knowledge in Windows Server Administration is a plus.

Review existing Linux systems, platforms and impose OS hardening & shell scripting for automation Hands-on experience in managing LVM, Multipath, and bonding configurations Implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and recommend security changes to the system or system components as needed.

Design Infrastructure solutions for high availability, resiliency, integrity, and security. Ensure all system operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary. Knowledge in managing Apache web servers and MySQL databases running on Linux servers.

Knowledge of Microsoft Directory Services (Active Directory/DNS/DHCP), and SSL Certificates. Education & Qualifications: Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCP & VCAP) Red Hat Certification (RHCE) ITIL Certification V4 or relevant experience. Microsoft Certified: Entra ID Administrator Associate is a plus
