Business Analyst - LOS - Mumbai

: Primary Responsibilities:  Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops with underwriters, credit risk managers, and compliance teams to capture business needs for retail, commercial, or mortgage lending.  LOS Configuration & Workflow Mapping: Map out end-to-end loan journeys, including customer onboarding, data capture, credit decisioning logic, and document generation within the LOS platform  Functional Specification: Translate complex business rules and lending policies into clear user stories, functional requirement documents (FRDs), and process flow diagrams for development teams.  Integration Specification: Define business rules for third-party integrations, such as credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax), KYC/AML verification vendors, income verification tools, and e-signature platforms.  Testing & User Acceptance (UAT): Define UAT criteria, design test cases, coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders, and validate that the configured LOS meets regulatory and business standards.  Change Management & Training: Create user documentation, training guides, and support the rollout of new LOS features to loan officers and operations teams. Required Skills  Lending Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the credit lifecycle, including application processing, credit scoring, financial spreading, risk assessment, and collateral management specifically in Mortgage domain.  Technical Aptitude: Experience writing structured user stories in Jira/Azure DevOps, mapping workflows in Visio/PPT, and basic database querying using SQL.  Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills to successfully collaborate with both non-technical business users and core software developers. Qualification  Bachelor’s /Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with degree preferred in Computer Science or Information technology systems security or related field. No of years of Industry experience  5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or FinTech, with at least 3+ years dedicated specifically to implementing or configuring Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
