As an Automation Tester at GDIT, you’ll power innovation through robust automated testing frameworks, advanced validation methods, and seamless coordination across engineering teams working in a modern Azure‑native environment.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As an Automation Tester, the work you’ll do at GDIT will support the development, security, and reliability of a new healthcare portal operating in a FedRAMP/HIPAA‑compliant environment.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring applications, APIs, microservices, and data flows perform flawlessly and securely, contributing directly to mission‑critical healthcare service delivery.

Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications, APIs, microservices, and data workflows.

● Design and maintain automated testing solutions using Playwright (JavaScript) and Selenium (Java).

● Conduct functional, integration, regression, smoke, performance, accessibility, and user acceptance testing.

● Collaborate closely with front‑end, back‑end, data engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth and reliable integration testing across multiple services.

● Perform API testing to validate payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and end‑to‑end behavior.

● Use SQL Server and SSMS to perform advanced database validation across large‑scale datasets using complex queries, multi‑table joins, CTEs, aggregations, and data comparisons.
