Senior Accountant (Group Consolidation & Reporting) / East Area

Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East area.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end accounting activities for several entities within the group. Manage the monthly and annual financial closing process, including necessary adjustments and reporting. Prepare financial and management reports, as well as group-level consolidation.

Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations and consolidation adjustments between entities. Review general ledger accounts, balance sheet schedules and supporting reconciliations for accuracy. Manage accounting matters relating to inventory, product costing and stock provisions.

Coordinate audit exercises, tax matters, GST submissions and statutory requirements across the relevant entities. Assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial information and reports for management review.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls and finance systems, including automation initiatives. Work closely with the Financial Controller, auditors, tax agents, banks and other stakeholders on group reporting and other finance-related projects.

Perform any ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

Min Degree in Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting. Hands-on experience in group consolidation and intercompany accounting. Good knowledge of SFRS / IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
