Job Description

Job Summary Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Consultant - Provide hands-on delivery and support to build and extend core analytical data models for Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence. - Develop trusted, reusable, and high-performing subject areas for business users, enabling self-service analytics with minimal bespoke report development. - Translate business reporting requirements into logical dimensional models, reusable measures, and governed subject areas. - Assess and extend Oracle-delivered FDI content using a configure-before-customise approach. - Design and build logical data structures (stars, facts, dimensions, hierarchies, joins, calculations) in FDI semantic models. - Integrate required source data, flexfields, augmentations, and custom datasets into analytical models. - Validate and reconcile data quality, completeness, security, and performance across development, test, and production environments. - Maintain model documentation, including source-to-target mappings, lineage, naming standards, and usage guidance. - Collaborate with business analysts, subject-matter experts, technology teams, and Oracle Support to resolve issues and align deliverables. - Implement and validate security controls (subject-area, object, row-level, data-context) in line with RBAC requirements. - Package, promote, and regression-test model and security changes across environments using controlled release practices. - Transfer knowledge to internal teams via walkthroughs, standards, and practical coaching. - Deliver documented source-to-target designs, tested core FDI models, validation workbooks, and operational documentation. - Work iteratively against a prioritised backlog, demonstrating incremental model improvements to stakeholders. - Focus on data and semantic modelling (not general BI report development or broad Oracle Fusion implementation). - Essential skills: extensive Oracle FDI/Fusion Analytics Warehouse experience, strong SQL and data modelling abilities, Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM knowledge, security and performance optimisation, and stakeholder management. - Desirable skills: Oracle Analytics Cloud, EPM Cloud, OTBI/BI Publisher, Oracle integration technologies, MDM/EDM, certifications, and experience in regulated/public-sector environments. - Apply Agile and best-practice delivery, documentation, and release standards.
