: Role : Senior DevOps Engineer. Location : Pune, India (Hybrid). Experience : 8 - 12 years. Employment Type : Full-time. About the Role : We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will own the CI/CD, release management, and environment strategy for a Salesforce-centric application landscape, and help enable AI-assisted engineering initiatives such as automated test scenario generation and code analysis. The role suits someone who combines strong platform engineering skills with the discipline expected in a regulated financial services environment. Key Responsibilities : - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (Apex, LWC, metadata) and supporting services, covering build, static analysis, automated testing, and deployment across sandboxes and production. - Own source control strategy, branching models, and release management, including environment refreshes, sandbox seeding, and deployment rollback plans. - Integrate code quality and security scanning (e.g., PMD, SonarQube, Checkmarx) into pipelines and enforce quality gates for Apex test coverage and code standards. - Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code for cloud-hosted components, integrations, and tooling. - Build and support pipelines that feed AI/ML tooling used on the project, such as generating user stories from Apex code, regression test scenarios, and code pattern analysis. - Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for application health, deployment success, and integration failures. - Ensure compliance with Northern Trust's change management, audit, access control, and segregation-of-duties requirements; maintain deployment evidence for audits. - Partner with developers, QA, architects, and business stakeholders across India and US time zones; mentor junior DevOps and release engineers. - Drive continuous improvement in deployment frequency, lead time, and change failure rate. Required Skills and Experience : - 8 - 10 years in DevOps, build/release engineering, or platform engineering, with at least 3 - 4 years on Salesforce DevOps. - Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX CLI), metadata and source-tracked deployments, scratch orgs, and unlocked packages. - Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or Flosum. - Strong CI/CD skills with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI. - Expert-level Git (GitHub/Bitbucket/Azure Repos) and branching strategies. - Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, and Python. - Experience with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable), plus Terraform or ARM/Bicep. - Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with code quality and security tooling (SonarQube, PMD, Checkmarx or equivalent). - Prior experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry. Good to Have : - Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Administrator, or DevOps-related). - Exposure to AI/LLM-assisted development tooling or MLOps pipelines. - Experience with test automation frameworks (Provar, Selenium, or similar) integrated into CI. - Observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Azure Monitor. - Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent cloud certification.
