Full-Stack Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: • • 5+ years building customer-facing web applications end-to-end (frontend + backend). • • Strong React / Next.js skills and ability to build production-quality UI (not just prototypes). • • Strong backend fundamentals (Node.js / TypeScript preferred) and solid database design skills (Postgres). • • Experience building transactional flows involving payments, edge cases, failure states, and user trust. • • Self-directed, ownership mindset, comfortable working closely with founders in an early-stage environment. Responsibilities: • You will be the first engineering hire, working directly with the founders to build the first production-ready version of SwapTix. • Your responsibilities will include: • • Owning the MVP build end-to-end (frontend, backend, database and deployment). • • Building transactional marketplace flows including listing, buying, payments, cancellations, refunds and failure states. • • Implementing authentication, permissions and basic admin tooling. • • Designing clean APIs, data models and scalable architecture foundations. • • Setting up engineering discipline: repository structure, CI/CD, environments, logging and monitoring. • • Working in short delivery cycles with weekly milestones and demos. • • Writing maintainable, well-tested code with long-term scalability in mind. • • Contributing to product decisions, especially around clarity, transparency and user trust. • This is a high-ownership role with real influence over architecture and technical standards.
