Job Description Job Title: Head - Human Resources Location: Pune/Mumbai, India Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: - Develop and execute hiring strategies to attract top talent in engineering and business operations roles. - Drive end-to-end recruitment across India, ensuring timely and quality hires. - Build and scale teams from scratch, aligning hiring plans with business growth. HR Strategy & Organizational Development: - Design and implement HR policies, processes, and best practices. - Develop strategies to build a strong organizational culture and improve employee engagement. - Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals. Employee Lifecycle & Talent Management: - Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit. - Implement performance management systems, succession planning, and leadership development programs. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and employee development. Compensation, Compliance & HR Operations: - Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR regulations. - Oversee payroll management, benefits administration, and employee grievances. - Manage workforce planning, budgeting, and HR analytics for data-driven decision-making. Key Requirements: - 10+ years of experience in all HR functions. - Strong experience in hiring for engineering and non-engineering roles, especially in electrical projects, production, and operations (preferable). - Proven ability to build HR functions from scratch and implement best practices. - Experience in the power domain or a startup environment is highly preferred. - Excellent knowledge of labor laws and HR operations. - Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Retired army personnels are also welcome.
