About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Remote Senior Financial Analyst to join their globally distributed finance team, supporting operations based out of Polokwane . This role is critical in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing key insights that guide business strategy and operational decisions. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate extensively with teams across various locations, utilizing advanced analytical tools and communication platforms. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans. • Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability modeling. • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning. • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. • Identify key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure alignment on financial goals. Requirements • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA is a plus. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or a similar finance role. • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI). • Strong understanding of financial principles and corporate finance. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage complex projects in a remote setting.
