Senior Full Stack Python Developer

GovStar is hiring a Senior Full Stack Python Developer to build secure, production-grade AI applications supporting U. S. national security initiatives. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who wants to stay close to the code, spending the majority of their time developing software.

We’re looking for strong experience with Python, React/TypeScript, CSS, REST APIs, SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, plus experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Relevant technologies: Python, React, TypeScript, Azure OpenAI, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, LLMs, and RAG.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship

• U.S. resident

• Reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone

• Ability to obtain government clearance

• BA/BS + 15 years relevant experience (experience may substitute for education). Compensation varies by experience and demonstrated technical capability. We’re happy to discuss compensation expectations early in the process so neither side wastes time.
