The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Carrier eDesign software-based tools for the design and optimization of heating ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in buildings.

**Key Responsibilities:** As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for: + Developing desktop and web-based software applications for HVAC system design and energy modeling. + Analyzing software requirements and design software solutions. + Producing clean, efficient code that meets software requirements.

+ Performing unit and system testing. + Working collaboratively with other developers on development projects. + Maintaining, troubleshooting, and debug existing software. + Contributing to establishing department guidelines and standards for development of software.

+ Evaluating and identifying new libraries, tools, and technologies for use by the software development team, as needed. **Requirements:** + Proficient with desktop software development using C#, . NET.

+ Proficient with front-end web technologies including JavaScript and ReactJS + Proficient with server-side and back-end technologies including C#, . NET, and Entity Framework. + Understanding of object-oriented design and analysis (OOD and OOA) + Knowledge of software development and deployment practices on AWS.

+ Technology experience including Microsoft Visual Studio, XML, JSON, WPF, XAML. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation communication skills + High level of verbal and written English language fluency.

+ Experience using agentic AI tools for software development + 3+ years of work experience as software engineer preferred but not required. + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study.
