UX Designer - Senior

Job Title: UX Designer - Senior Location: Toronto / St. Catharines Work Model: Hybrid Duration: 9 Months Submission Deadline: 2026-07-09, 3:30 p.m. EST Must Haves • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design. • Experience facilitating User Research and Usability Testing. Accessibility compliance testing is a plus. • 3+ years of relevant experience participating in complex projects of varying sizes while incorporating user-centred design processes and Agile (Scrum) methodologies. • Expertise in UX software such as JustInMind, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, Figma, and Zeplin. • HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills (React, Angular, NodeJS) are considered an asset. Description / Responsibilities / Skills General There are four (4) distinct delivery phases in which user experience designers produce deliverables following the Ontario Digital Service Design Playbook. Delivery Phase 1 – Discovery Key Responsibilities • Build understanding of the problem space and business goals. • Understand user and business needs. • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions. • Conduct user research and analysis.
