Executive Chef- Upscale American Restaurant and Bar

Location: NYC Salary: $110k-$120k Benefits : Bonus eligibility, 100% Medical coverage, Dental and Vision options, PTO A growing restaurant group is looking for an Executive Chef to run their upscale American Bistro concept in NYC! Qualifications: • 3-4+ years of experience Senior leadership experience Executive Chef or Sr. Sous Chef within a high-volume, upscale New American restaurant or premium steakhouse in New York City. • A hands-on, results-driven leader who leads by example, remains composed in a fast-paced environment, and builds strong working relationships with front-of-house leadership. • Strong knowledge of P&L management, food and labor cost controls, inventory management, purchasing, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with General Managers and Operating Partners to drive operational efficiency, elevate the guest experience, and maintain strong communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams. • Partner with restaurant leadership to manage P&L performance, control food and labor costs, minimize waste, and implement strategies that maximize profitability. • Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule a high-performing culinary team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
