Technical Writer

Position Overview: Virtana is seeking a technical writer who is passionate about creating and delivering customer-centered technical content. We’re looking for a collaborative, creative team member who understands how to write clear, concise, and relevant content. You will work closely with a global network of engineers, product managers to understand real-world use cases. Work Location: Pune Job Type: Hybrid Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, edit, and deliver accurate and effective documentation for Virtana products. • Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Support, and members of the Information Development team to ensure quality and accuracy of content. • Follow our documentation guidelines to produce high quality documentation. • Prioritize projects when working with multiple engineering teams. • Analyze customer feedback before and after delivering documentation to enhance content depth, quality, and relevance. Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years relevant experience writing documentation for Cloud or Enterprise products. • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Technical Writing is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience writing release notes and creating videos. • Experience with XML, DITA. • Familiarity working with Jira and Confluence. • Good collaboration skills with the writers and cross-functional teams.
