(Senior) Financial Accountant (Poland) (m/f/d) Miejsce pracy: Kraków Your responsibilities • Perform financial controlling activities for the Polish GBS entity, including review of monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet in SAP and other reporting tools • Identify, investigate, and correct accounting issues related to fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and cost allocation • Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation • Analyze and comment on variances between actual results and budget, as well as balance sheet movements • Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, including SOX controls, and perform account reconciliations in Blackline in line with Group policies • Support preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and Group requirements • Prepare, review, and submit required statistical reports to the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS) in accordance with applicable reporting requirements and deadlines • Prepare and submit financial and statistical reports to the National Bank of Poland (NBP), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements • Assist with VAT, corporate tax, and Group tax reporting, as applicable • Support internal and external audit activities and act as a finance contact for audit queries • Support implementation of finance process improvements in cooperation with Group Finance and GBS • Code purchase invoices, raise purchase orders, and perform high‑level accounts payable reviews; support GBS with AP queries as needed • Assist with budgeting and forecasting for operating costs and provide commentary on deviations • Participate in ad hoc tasks and finance projects as required Our requirements • A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a month-end closing environment • Experience with general ledger accounting, including journals, reconciliations, and P&L / balance sheet review • High attention to detail, accuracy, and data quality • Confident user of Excel; experience with SAP (OneStream is an advantage) • Good understanding of compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams • Proactive, well‑organized, and motivated to drive process improvements • Self-directed and innovative mindset What we offer • Meaningful projects: Contribute to interesting projects with dedicated teams, making a real impact and driving positive change. • Continuous learning: Access our e-learning platform with a wealth of engaging learning content to expand your knowledge and skills. • Smooth transition: Benefit from a comprehensive onboarding program designed to help you integrate seamlessly into our organization. • Boundless growth opportunities: Work with global teams of industry leaders on cutting-edge projects. • Collaborative excellence: Join teams obsessed with design, innovation, and excellence. • World-leading brands: Engage with our iconic sport and outdoor brands.
