SYSTEM/ NETWORK ENGINEER

Responsibilities As a System/ Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the following: System And Network, Able to configure CISCO, Fortinet, Juniper, Firewall & Antivirus, and other security software. Experience with CISCO core switches, Access Points (Wireless) such as Aironet / Meraki / HP Aruba is a plus.

Familiarize with CISCO Network LAN & WAN design. Pre-sales to Point to Point and Client VPN. Setup and perform troubleshooting with network technical skills, including CISCO Routers, CISCO Switches, wireless devices, Fortinet Firewalls, Load Balancers, and system management tools like Network Analysis.

Install WINDOWS Server O/S, WIN 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform for Servers, and PCs with hands-on experience in setup and configuration.

Knowledge of setup/configure VMWare, Exchange Server, SQL, and Virtual Server, along with hardware configuration experience (Server, external backup, UPS) in FAS System, HPE Storage, Synology NAL, etc.

Job Description

Rack/stack IT Equipment. Installation/configuration of various OS (Windows, Linux, Vmware). Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones. Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems. Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team.

Carry out other technical related duties that may be required. Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Configure and Network security appliances such as firewalls, routers, and switches.

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent Able to configure/design and provide consultation for Cisco Switches, Router and Fortigate Firewall 3 – 10 years of relevant experience in server implementation / operation / administration for Vmware / Storage / Redhat / Windows.
