Job Summary

Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning to ensure seamless operations, cost efficiency, and timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

Execute daily buyer responsibilities including PO placement, PO confirmation, RFQs (Request for Quotations) and rescheduling activities to maintain optimal inventory. Coordinating with both overseas & local suppliers to resolve purchase-related matters, monitor shipment status and update the arrival dates in the system.

Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning to ensure seamless operations. Drive cost-efficiency to achieve cost saving while maintaining quality standards and ensure timely delivery across all procurement activities.

Conduct market research to Identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities and reliability Evaluate and appraise suppliers for machine components, materials, and procurement products from both local and overseas sources.

Apply strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, shorten the lead time and ensure on time delivery. Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production demands. Communicate proactively and clearly with stakeholders across departments.

Prepare weekly purchasing reports detailing procurement activities to enhance operational efficiency. Performing any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Purchasing manager Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
