Head - Digital & Technology - Agri/Agri-tech

Head Digital & Technology The role will lead the digital transformation agenda, driving the adoption of digital, data, analytics, AI, automation and emerging technologies to create measurable business impact. The role will shape and execute the digital strategy across the organisation, using technology and data to enhance customer and farmer engagement, improve operational effectiveness, enable better decision-making and create new opportunities for business growth. It will also oversee the underlying technology and IT operations required to support and scale the company's digital ecosystem. Digital Strategy: - Translate Co's growth priorities into an integrated Digital roadmap, with clear priorities, sequencing, investment requirements and expected business outcomes. - Assess digital maturity across the business; identify critical gaps, opportunities and priorities for digital transformation and adoption. - Benchmark relevant external digital practices and solutions and define the target digital capabilities and operating model required to build a scalable, future-ready business. Digital Enablement and Technology Partnership: - Partner closely with the Technology/IT team to ensure the technology ecosystem supports Co's digital priorities. - Work with Technology and business teams to implement, integrate and scale digital solutions. Digital Transformation, AI & Automation: - Identify and prioritise high-value digital, AI, GenAI and automation opportunities across field, farmer/channel, sales, supply chain, operations and corporate functions. - Own technology risk, access controls, data protection and technology governance appropriate to Co's scale and risk profile. - Drive adoption of new platforms and ways of working through stakeholder engagement, communication, training and change management. - Build the internal Digital & Technology capability required to operate, govern and continuously improve critical systems and platforms. Qualification: - Graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Science or related discipline; MBA/PGDM or relevant technology/digital qualification preferred. - Preference for Agri / Agri-tech or Big 4 experience in enterprise-level digital transformation. Relevant experience from FMCG/Consumer, Automotive, Industrial, or other traditionally operated businesses with significant digital transformation may also be considered. - Track record of driving adoption, managing change and building internal Digital & Technology capability.
