Commercial Finance Manager - CA

About the Role: A leading consumer-focused company with a strong portfolio of well-established brands is looking for a Chartered Accountant to join its Commercial Finance team. The role will involve managing working capital, debtors, creditors, controllership, compliance, and financial controls . This is a hands-on opportunity for a CA to work closely with cross-functional teams and drive stronger financial controls, working capital optimisation, and process improvements. Location: Mumbai Mode: Full-time/on-site/5-days Role Responsibilities: - Manage debtors, collections, credit limits, and working capital across customers and channels - Review customer agreements and identify opportunities for leakage control and margin optimisation - Drive quarterly account sign-offs, customer returns, and distributor-level controls - Review vendor credit terms, reconciliations, and ensure MSME compliance - Ensure timely GST, TDS, statutory and tax compliance - Lead statutory, tax, and internal audits and ensure compliance with internal financial controls - Develop SOPs and improve finance processes through automation - Support SAP transition and ensure accurate financial documentation and approvals - Work closely with FP&A on scheme optimisation and margin rationalisation Requirements: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Experience in Commercial Finance, Business Finance, Controllership, or FP&A - Strong understanding of working capital, accounts receivable, credit control, and financial controls - Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, audits, and statutory compliance - Experience in FMCG, Consumer, or E-commerce will be an advantage - Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills - Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferred - Strong ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities
