You will play a vital role in maintaining operational stability, optimizing infrastructure performance, and enabling continuous innovation to support critical enterprise services. This is how we organize our work This is how we work • you have influence on the choice of tools and technologies • you have influence on the technological solutions applied • you have influence on the product • you develop the code "from scratch" • you focus on product development Team members • product owner • project manager • IT administrator Your responsibilities • Ensure operational stability, integrity, and availability of UNIX/Linux infrastructure supporting business-critical applications • Implement and maintain automation scripts and tools to enhance system performance and resilience • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents across OS, network, and application layers promptly • Support infrastructure changes, patches, and security enhancements aligning with best practices • Drive system monitoring, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting to optimize operational efficiency • Manage high-availability environments, ensuring minimum downtime and rapid recovery • Handle on-call support, incident management, and change assessment within SLA parameters Our requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in UNIX/Linux administration, with strong knowledge of RHEL 6, 7, 8, and 9 • Proven expertise in shell scripting (Bash) for automation and operational support • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, firewalls • Experience with patching, package management (YUM/DNF, RPM), and vulnerability remediation • Good knowledge of server hardening, security controls, and system monitoring tools • Ability to troubleshoot across OS, storage, network, and application layers • Experience managing high-availability production environments • Strong command of English, both written and spoken • Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role Optional • Knowledge of automation and configuration-management tools such as Ansible • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow • Knowledge of German language (spoken) What we offer • ITDS Clubs • Access to medical insurance • Access to Multisport • Access to Pluralsight • Integrational Events • Ambassador Program Benefits • sharing the costs of sports activities • private medical care • flexible working time • fruits • integration events • corporate gym • saving & investment scheme • no dress code • coffee / tea • drinks • christmas gifts • birthday celebration • sharing the costs of a streaming platform subscription • access to +100 projects • access to Pluralsight Recruitment stages • online interview • online interview #GETREADY to meet with us!
