Quality Engineer (Mobile Testing)

Quality Engineer (Mobile Testing) Skills: Mobile Testing (Primary Focus) • Strong hands-on experience with Sauce Labs for mobile device testing and test execution. • Experience testing native mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. • Experience with both physical devices and simulators/emulators. • Understanding of .apk and .ipa files, including installing and validating builds on test devices. • Exposure to Detox is a plus but not required. General QA / Supporting Technical Skills • Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Jenkins, and Bitbucket. • Familiarity with Node.js (in order to understand xpress-mobile PRs) • Working knowledge of SQL and Unix/Linux. • Experience with AWS, including DynamoDB and AWS WorkSpaces. • Familiarity with AWS Device Farm. • Ability to support testing efforts that span mobile applications and related backend systems. Understanding of web, API and mobile automation tools and frameworks. Excited about learning and growing. Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail and critical thinking. Ability to translate business requirements into technical test cases for automation. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional work teams. Possess ability to lead others in the completion of large-scale projects. willing to work from office per hybrid policy Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Experience: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, complexity theory and object-oriented design. Solid programming experience, NodeJS and Typescript preferred. Experience with automated (JS) testing frameworks such as PLaywright Cloud environment experience and AWS certifications are a plus. Experience developing high quality test automation. Experience maintaining and enhancing automated testing projects. Knowledge of software quality assurance/engineering methodologies, tools and processes. Strong, object-oriented design and coding experience. Experience building automated testing projects from ground up. Experience building CI/CD processes and leveraging tools such as Jenkins.
