AI/ML Data Scientist Experience : 5 - 8 Years Openings : 5 Location : Chennai Work Mode : Hybrid / Client Location as applicable Engagement : Proactive Hiring Role Overview : We are looking for experienced AI/ML Data Scientists with strong expertise in Machine Learning, Python, statistics, SQL, and data science. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, deploying, optimizing, and monitoring ML/AI solutions and should be comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities : - Understand business problems and translate them into data science and machine learning solutions. - Gather and analyze requirements from business and technical stakeholders. - Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, and statistical analysis. - Develop and optimize machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, and other use cases. - Apply appropriate machine learning algorithms and evaluate model performance. - Work on Generative AI, LLM, RAG, NLP, and other AI-based solutions where applicable. - Develop Python-based data science solutions and reusable ML pipelines. - Collaborate with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders. - Deploy ML models into production and monitor model performance. - Perform model tuning, validation, and performance optimization. - Communicate technical findings, insights, and model outcomes clearly to stakeholders. Required Skills : - Strong hands-on experience with Python - Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and concepts - Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn - Strong SQL and data analysis skills - Feature engineering, Model training and validation, Model tuning and optimization - Statistics and probability - Experience with ML model deployment / MLOps - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure - Experience with Generative AI / LLM / RAG is an added advantage Preferred Skills : - TensorFlow / PyTorch, NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, LLMs and RAG - Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, MLflow / Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes - BigQuery, Databricks, Spark, Cloud AI/ML Services, LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI SDK, Google ADK Candidate Profile : - 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Experience taking ML solutions from problem definition through development and production deployment - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Candidates who can join within a short notice period are preferred
