Grounds Maintenance Worker – Cemetery maintenance, mowing, pruning & grounds work with the City of Gold Coast! Your new company Are you experienced in grounds maintenance and looking for a new challenge? Hays Specialist Recruitment is seeking talented individuals to join the City of Gold Coast’s Venues and Community department on a temporary basis. Their Cemeteries team is dedicated to providing safe, respectful, and beautifully maintained spaces for the community. Due to ongoing operational needs, Council is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Worker to join their cemetery maintenance crew. Your new role As a Grounds Maintenance Worker in the Cemeteries division, you will be responsible for the upkeep, presentation, and functionality of cemetery grounds and facilities. Your daily duties may include mowing, whipper snipping, pruning, mulching, general horticultural tasks, minor repairs, grave preparation support, waste management, and ensuring all areas remain clean, safe and dignified. You will work as part of a close-knit crew and follow safe work practices at all times.
