We already work with leading healthcare and life sciences companies, including Novartis , solving real regulatory and operational problems in a highly complex industry. As a Senior AI Engineer (Agentic Systems) , you’ll own a new technical product area end-to-end and build the agentic systems behind it.

You’ll design systems where AI agents can write and review code, debug failures, analyse data, and support day-to-day operations, while you set the technical direction, make the critical decisions, and remain accountable for quality and reliability.

You’ll work closely with product, domain experts, and the wider engineering team to turn complex regulatory requirements into reliable, intuitive product experiences. Because we operate in a highly regulated industry, correctness, traceability, and reliability are central to how we build.

We believe in the value of in-person collaboration and work in a hybrid setup, with the team coming together in our office in the heart of Berlin-Mitte typically four days per week.

What You’ll Do As a Senior Engineer at Rematiq, you will own a technical product end-to-end — from system design and architecture to operations, iteration, and business impact.

You will: Own the system, infrastructure, and agents behind a new product area from first version to scaled operation Build agent-driven workflows where agents write code, review code, debug failures, analyze data, and support operational reliability Design the agent factory itself: workflows, skills, hooks, guardrails, review loops, and escalation paths Make pragmatic technical decisions that directly shape product quality, speed, and revenue impact Build robust backend systems around messy real-world inputs, changing requirements, and operation
