Business Analyst

About the Role: We are looking for a Business Analyst to turn business needs into clear, actionable requirements and data-backed recommendations. You will work with stakeholders, product, and technology teams to improve processes, support decisions, and deliver projects that create measurable impact. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis - Translate requirements into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria - Analyse business data to find trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities - Build dashboards and reports that track KPIs for leadership and operations teams - Map current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes and recommend improvements - Work with developers and QA to make sure solutions match requirements, and support UAT - Manage stakeholder expectations, scope changes, and project documentation - Support change management, training, and post-launch performance reviews Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field (MBA is a plus) - 2 - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role - Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) - Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker - Hands-on experience writing BRDs, FRDs, and user stories - Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and process modelling (BPMN or flowcharts) - Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum - Basic Python or R for data analysis - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and wireframing tools such as Figma or Balsamiq - Domain exposure to BFSI, e-commerce, healthcare, or SaaS Key Skills: Requirement gathering, Data analysis, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Process mapping, Documentation, Agile, Problem-solving, Stakeholder management Success Metrics (First 6 - 12 Months): - Requirements delivered on time with low rework - Dashboards adopted by business teams - Measurable process improvements, such as reduced turnaround time or cost - High stakeholder satisfaction What We Offer: Competitive salary, learning and certification support, flexible hybrid work, and clear growth into Senior BA, Product, or Analytics roles.
