Position: Head - Payroll for Finance Shared Services Location: Delhi NCR Job Brief: We are looking for an experienced Head of Payroll to lead our payroll department. As the Head of Payroll, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll operations, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and timely, as well as ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll. Our ideal candidate has advanced knowledge of payroll systems and practices, is highly organized, and possesses strong leadership skills. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise all aspects of payroll operations - Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates - Develop policies and procedures to improve efficiency of the payroll department - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices - Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor - Oversee and manage payroll team to ensure all payroll processes are executed appropriately and timely - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll - Manage and prepare documents for HR policies related to payroll and employee benefits - Oversee audits of payroll or benefits reports
