Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Amazon is hiring a Finance Manager to lead automation strategy for Sub Same-Day (SSD) Finance.

This role owns the SSD Reporting and Governance committee, drives the end-to-end automation roadmap — including strategy, big rock prioritization, and success metrics — and partners with SSD BIE and Global Automation teams to build in-house tools that replace manual processes at scale.

Key job responsibilities1) Own the SSD Finance automation roadmap end-to-end — define strategy, set big rock prioritization, establish success metrics, and drive execution across a 15-month transformation horizon 2) Lead the SSD Reporting and Governance committee; set intake standards, prioritization frameworks, and delivery accountability across 25+ active automation and data infrastructure projects 3) Partner with SSD BIE and Global Automation teams to build and deploy in-house tools — including centralized bridge submission, automated planning templates, and data pipeline infrastructure — that replace manual Excel-based processes at scale 4) Establish foundational data infrastructure for the SSD Finance org — so all reporting runs from a single source of truth 5) Deploy AI-native planning capabilities: build a centralized context repository feeding Orcha/QuickSight to auto-generate first-draft planning narratives, financial summaries, and variance commentary across WBR, MEC, and OP cycles
