Careator Technologies - Senior Scrum Master - Agile Delivery

Role : Senior Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead Experience : 7+ Years Location : Bangalore - Manyata Tech park (ORR) - Hybrid Locals to Bangalore required. Employment Type : Full-Time Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead with 7+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments and strong hands-on expertise in Jira, Python and AI/GenAI technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile delivery, removing impediments, improving team productivity and using Python, Jira automation and AI-based solutions to enhance project tracking, reporting, delivery predictability and engineering workflows. Key Responsibilities : - Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile/Scrum teams. - Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Retrospectives. - Remove impediments and proactively resolve delivery risks and dependencies. - Coach development teams, Product Owners and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum practices. - Track sprint progress, velocity, capacity, burndown and delivery commitments. - Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve team productivity. - Manage cross-team dependencies and coordinate with technical/business stakeholders. - Promote Agile principles, transparency, collaboration and continuous improvement. - Support release planning and roadmap execution. - Prepare and communicate Agile delivery metrics to management. Jira / Agile Tools : - Strong hands-on experience with Jira Software and Confluence. - Configure and manage Jira workflows, boards, dashboards, filters and reports. - Create Agile dashboards for sprint, release and portfolio-level tracking. - Implement Jira automation for repetitive project-management activities. - Develop JQL queries and customized reports. - Track velocity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, lead time and team capacity. - Integrate Jira with CI/CD, Git and other engineering tools where required. Python / Automation : - Use Python for project and engineering-process automation. - Develop scripts to extract, transform and analyze Jira/project data. - Automate Agile reporting, dashboards, notifications and status tracking. - Build integrations using Jira REST APIs and other enterprise APIs. - Analyze project metrics using Python libraries such as Pandas and related tools. - Automate repetitive delivery-management and reporting activities. AI / GenAI : - Practical understanding of Generative AI, LLMs and AI-powered productivity tools. - Identify opportunities to use AI in Agile delivery, project management and software-development workflows. Use AI tools for : - Sprint and status-report generation - Meeting/action-item summarization - Risk and dependency identification - Jira ticket analysis - User-story refinement - Acceptance-criteria generation - Defect/incident analysis - Release and delivery forecasting - Experience with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude or similar AI tools is desirable. - Exposure to AI APIs, prompt engineering, RAG or AI automation will be an advantage. Required Skills : Must Have : - 7+ years of overall IT experience - 4+ years as Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead - Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies - Hands-on Jira and Confluence - Strong JQL and Jira dashboard/reporting skills - Good Python scripting/automation experience - Understanding of REST APIs - Practical exposure to AI/GenAI tools - Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills - Experience working with distributed/global Agile teams Good to Have : - Jira Administration experience - Jira REST API / Jira Automation - Python - Pandas, API integration and data analysis - Git / GitHub / GitLab - CI/CD concepts - Power BI or similar reporting tools - AI/LLM APIs - Prompt Engineering - RAG / AI agents - Cloud exposure - AWS/Azure/GCP - SAFe / PMI-ACP / PSM / CSM certification Candidate Profile : - The ideal candidate should be a strong Agile practitioner who is also technically hands-on. - This is not purely a traditional Scrum Master role. Candidates should be comfortable using Jira, Python and AI tools to automate reporting, analyze delivery data and improve Agile processes. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
