Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Role Overview : - Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API applications using Playwright and TypeScript. - Create and execute automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios. - Perform API testing by validating requests, responses, authentication, business logic, and system integrations. - Conduct database testing, including SQL query validation, data integrity verification, backend data reconciliation, and database-driven test scenarios. - Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines and support quality gates across the software development lifecycle. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process. - Perform performance and exploratory testing to identify bottlenecks, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement. - Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous quality improvements across releases. Mandatory Skills : - Python - Proven expertise in Playwright & Typescript for modern web application automation testing. - Strong experience with Selenium for UI automation and test development. - Hands-on experience in API testing, including REST API validation, automation, and integration testing. - Strong experience in Database Testing, including SQL queries, data validation, backend verification, and data integrity testing. - Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD pipelines. - Good understanding of DevOps practices and software release processes. - Hands-on experience working with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Team handling experience.
