Manager - Planning

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Scheduling • Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. • Develop baseline schedules, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), and project timelines. • Identify critical path activities and monitor schedule risks. Progress Monitoring • Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against baseline plans. • Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and progress presentations for management review. • Conduct delay analysis and recovery planning. Coordination • Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, and subcontract teams to ensure alignment with the project schedule. • Participate in project review meetings and planning discussions. Resource & Cost Planning • Assist in resource loading, manpower planning, and equipment planning. • Support cost monitoring and productivity analysis in coordination with project controls. Reporting • Prepare weekly/monthly planning reports. • Maintain look-ahead schedules (2-week / 3-week plans). • Update project schedules and provide early warnings for potential delays. Risk & Delay Management • Identify potential schedule risks and mitigation plans. • Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) and claim documentation when required. Required Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering Experience • 10–12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in high rise residential construction projects. Technical Skills • Strong working knowledge of: • Primavera P6 • Microsoft Project • Microsoft Excel (advanced reporting) Knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing.
