Warehouse Manager

Join the Glass Outlet Team as a Warehouse Manager Glass Outlet is recognised Australia-wide as a leading wholesale supplier of glass, aluminium fencing, balustrading, aluminium screening, shower screens and associated products. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations at our Virginia branch. Working as part of a supportive and friendly team, your responsibilities will include: • Managing, supporting and mentoring warehouse supervisors and team members • Delegating daily, weekly and monthly tasks to maintain a controlled and prioritised workload • Coordinating workloads, staffing levels, quality control and operational lead times • Conducting daily supervisor and warehouse team meetings, including toolbox meetings as required • Overseeing incoming and outgoing stock movements across the warehouse and production areas • Ensuring orders, customer collections, courier freight and deliveries are managed accurately and efficiently • Maintaining stock integrity and identifying deficiencies in picking and warehouse processes • Managing warehouse employees, including recruitment, onboarding and performance matters, in consultation with HR • Monitoring team performance and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures • Identifying and implementing operational improvements to promote a culture of continuous improvement • Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and Chain of Responsibility standards • Overseeing the upkeep of company vehicles, forklifts and warehouse machinery • Optimising waste management practices and maintaining warehouse cleanliness • Providing outstanding service to customers • Completing general warehouse duties as required About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: • Previous warehouse management experience within warehousing, distribution, manufacturing or a related industry • Demonstrated experience managing and developing warehouse supervisors and team members • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock movements and inventory control • A current forklift licence • A current open Australian manual driver’s licence • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills • The ability to coordinate staffing, priorities and operational deadlines effectively • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • A sound understanding of WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements • A strong focus on customer service, safety, quality and operational efficiency • Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives • A positive, accountable and team-focused approach • An MR truck licence or diploma in Logistics, Warehousing Operations or Frontline Management would be highly regarded Why Join Glass Outlet • National business with strong growth plans • Supportive, values-driven culture • Additional paid day off for your birthday This is a full-time position based at our Virginia branch, working five days per week from Monday to Friday If you are ready for a new leadership challenge in a supportive and successful company, this is the role for you.
