Deputy Service Delivery Director

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of payroll, EOR and HR outsourcing services for regional and multi-country clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. • Lead and develop Service Delivery managers and teams across multiple countries, building a high-performing, client-focused culture and planning capacity as the business grows. • Own service KPIs and SLAs such as payroll accuracy, on-time delivery, client satisfaction and retention; monitor performance and drive corrective actions where needed. • Serve as the senior escalation point for key clients and lead regular service reviews with strategic accounts to protect and grow client relationships. • Drive operational excellence by standardising processes, strengthening internal controls and risk management, and leveraging HRMS and automation to improve efficiency and scalability. • Ensure compliance with local employment, tax and social security regulations across markets, and manage the performance of in-country partners and vendors. • Partner with Project Management, Sales, Product and Finance on implementation-to-operations handover, cost-to-serve, pricing input and new service offerings. • Manage the function's budget, cost-to-serve and service margins. • Work with the Head of Service Delivery on a structured transition plan and progressively take over team leadership, key client relationships and operational ownership, assuming full accountability for the Service Delivery function within approximately 12 months. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field. • 12+ years of experience in payroll outsourcing, EOR, HR outsourcing or shared services, including at least 5 years leading regional, multi-country teams. • In-depth knowledge of multi-country payroll and employment compliance across Asia Pacific; broader global exposure is a plus. • Proven track record of running service operations at scale against SLAs and KPIs, with experience managing budgets or cost-to-serve. • Strong people leadership, with experience managing managers and leading remote teams across different countries and time zones. • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, and confidence handling senior client escalations. • Continuous improvement mindset; experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) or payroll technology and automation is an advantage.
