Job Description

Do you have 2 years hands-on experience managing the logistical requirements for multiple events? Our client near Wellington is seeking a hands-on and organised individual who enjoys coordinating on-site event operations, logistical requirements and managing various delivery teams. This is a high-pressure, deadline driven environment that demands strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication with various teams. A valid drivers license and own reliable transport is essential. REQUIREMENTS • Min 2 years’ experience in logistics, fleet coordination or events • Valid Code B drivers’ license (code C or EC an advantage) essential • Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar field is highly advantageous but not essential • Availability to be on site for the full event (a few days or longer) with expenses covered by the company • Strong computer literacy • Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight event deadlines • Reliable, accountable, and customer-focused team player • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills • Practical, hands-on management style DUTIES • Liaising with event organizers to accommodate changes and resolve issues quickly • Coordination and management of drivers, vehicles, cleaning teams and equipment and all operational teams • Route planning and logistics • Planning sanitation layouts and unit quantities based on event size and regulations • Stock: Manage stock availability as well as chemicals, consumables, spare parts etc.) • Monitoring service quality during events and handling emergency callouts • Tracking logistics costs, fuel usage and operational efficiency • Understanding and implementing of health, safety and hygiene regulations • Asset management of fleet and equipment • Leadership and team coordination • Customer service orientation • Cost control and efficiency improvement Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
