Workday HCM Functional Solution Architect - HCM - IT/Consulting

Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture & Design: - Lead end-to-end functional solution design for Workday HCM implementations, enhancements, and transformation programs. - Define target-state HR operating models and Workday solution architecture. - Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions aligned with organizational objectives. - Ensure solution design adheres to Workday best practices and minimizes customizations. Functional Leadership: - Serve as the functional SME across Workday HCM modules. - Provide guidance on business process design, security, reporting, and organizational structures. - Lead solution workshops, fit-gap assessments, and design sessions. - Review configuration designs and functional specifications. Workday Module Expertise: Drive solution architecture across: - Core HCM - Recruiting - Onboarding - Talent & Performance - Compensation - Benefits - Absence Management - Time Tracking - Learning - Payroll (where applicable) - Advanced Compensation - Workforce Planning Business Process Transformation: - Analyze and redesign HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience. - Recommend Workday-delivered functionality to support business requirements. - Support organizational change and HR digital transformation initiatives. - Identify opportunities for process automation and standardization. Stakeholder Management: - Partner with HR, Talent, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders. - Present solution options, recommendations, and impacts to executive stakeholders. - Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. - Facilitate decision-making among cross-functional stakeholders. Governance & Quality Assurance: - Establish solution governance and design standards. - Conduct design reviews and ensure solution consistency across modules. - Oversee testing strategy, UAT support, and deployment readiness. - Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or relevant field. - 8+ years of HCM consulting or HR technology experience. - 5+ years of Workday HCM functional consulting experience. - Multiple end-to-end Workday implementation and deployment experiences. - Experience leading large-scale HR transformation programs. Preferred Qualifications: - Workday HCM Certification(s). - Workday Talent & Performance Certification. - Workday Recruiting Certification. - Workday Compensation Certification. - Workday Benefits Certification. - MBA or Master's degree preferred. - Experience in global Workday deployments.
