Job Description

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U. S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U. S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a Sr Systems Architect for Airborne Systems, you’ll work closely with our defense customers to solve their most challenging problems. Includes Architecting Solutions for Multi-Function Processors and Stores Management Systems.

Role includes both pursuit and program execution.

What you bring to the table: Experience designing and developing embedded hardware/software-based solutions Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership Exceptional communication, presentation, and influence management skills, with notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas Experience translating customer needs into Product Planning and roadmaps What sets you apart: Creative thinker with demonstrated success understanding customer operational scenarios and then using that to architect solutions Experience in a multidisciplinary team including hardware, software, FPGA and cyber-security experts Exceptional communication, presentation, and influence management skills, with notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas Knowledge of COTS modules for SBC, FPGA, Graphics, Wave Forms, and Switches Knowledge of open systems standards like SOSA, VPX, OMS and Avionics interfaces.
