Career opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role is a full-time permanent opportunity based out of our Vancouver, BC office on a hybrid working model. Reporting directly to the Manager, Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the current and future needs of the organization. This role involves full-cycle recruitment, strategic sourcing, employer branding, and collaborating with hiring managers to ensure a seamless recruitment process. You will be responsible for: • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs; • Determine selection criteria; • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks); • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews; • Maintain and update recruitment platforms and tracking systems (Indeed, LinkedIn, CATS etc) to ensure best practices in Talent Acquisition; • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements; • Extend job offers and manage the negotiation and onboarding process; • Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent; • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. • Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives as required to support business and talent acquisition objectives; • Support hiring managers through interview training, recruitment best practices, and guidance on talent acquisition processes. The ideal candidate for this position has: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in financial industry (agency or in-house); • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, CATS); • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and recruitment channels; • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; • Ability to manage multiple openings and prioritize effectively; • High level of professionalism and discretion. Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity). Diversity and Inclusion Diversity is an important value to us.
