We design and operate customer-facing platforms enabling customers to configure and control their cloud assets. This team owns the IAM tool sets for Akamai's customers using the Cloud Manager website. We ensure customers have what they need to configure users for quality, safety, and performance.

Partner with the best You will join a global team and lead a team of engineers responsible for delivering high-quality IAM features and tools. You'll balance technical oversight with people management, coaching engineers, clarifying requirements, driving execution, and ensuring alignment with product and SRE partners.

While you will bring engineering expertise, your role will focus on leadership, mentorship, and technical direction over hands-on development.

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers proficient in enterprise IAM concepts Providing technical guidance and setting best practices for back-end architecture and development Providing technical guidance and setting best practices for back-end architecture and development Partnering with product management, QA, SRE, Senior Leadership, and other engineering teams to deliver cohesive user experiences Having oversight of delivery across the full project lifecycle: organizing, planning, development, testing, and release Driving consistency through tooling and engineering standards Supporting hiring, onboarding, performance feedback, and career growth for team members Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Demonstrate solid knowledge of back-end technologies in
