**Job Summary** Parts Inventory Analyst leads inventory planning and readiness activities for CPI programs, ensuring parts are available across distribution centers to support effective CPI publication releases to dealer.

The role collaborates with product groups, engineering, manufacturing facilities, and process partners to resolve supply and inventory issues, analyze performance, develop reporting solutions, and drive improvements in service, inventory turns, and operational efficiency.

**What You Will Do** - Inventory Management for CPI projects released by global product groups to address field quality issues. - Partner with internal & external business partners to resolve issues involving parts setup, engineering releases, supplier capacity, receiving, record accuracy, and material expediting.

- Maintain minimum stock levels at each distribution center to meet corporate CPI release criteria. - Achieve corporate CPI parts-readiness and inventory objectives for service performance and inventory turns by analyzing inventory reports and collaborating with internal customers, plants, and profit centers.

- Investigate parts availability challenges, identify root causes and potential solutions, consult management, and implement approved actions. Support the work group by scheduling procurement orders, converting expected demand into schedules, and applying facility stocking and distribution concepts.

- Drive process improvement initiatives & governance meetings with PG for successful CPI completion - Ensure timely updates of program status in all planning & tracking systems.

Level Basic Understanding: - Names specific tools or techniques that can be used to support the analytical thinking process. - Describes specific software applications or products used for business analytics. - Gives examples of how analytical thinking has been used to resolve problems.

- Helps others research and learn more about business analytics tools and applications.

Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Level Basic Understanding: - Describes alternative data-gathering techniques and tools. - Documents basic data-gathering methodologies. - Identifies the purposes of data gathering and analysis. - Identifies key objectives in gathering and analyzing data.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Level Basic Understanding: - Describes non-verbal behaviors that influence the interpretation of the message. - Cites examples of effective and ineffective communications. - Explains the importance of effective business communication. - Speaks/writes using correct language, mechanics, and gestures.

Inventory Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods. Level Basic Understanding: - Identifies basic tools and approaches for inventory management.

- Describes basic functions and reports needed for inventory management. - Cites examples of seasonal considerations and adjustments to planned versus actual inventory. - Describes basic benchmarks for inventory management.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Level Working Knowledge: - Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. - Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder. - Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.

- Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution. - Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.

Standard Operating Procedures: Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.

Level Working Knowledge: - Adjusts SOPs according to changes in organizational and industry procedures. - Tracks deviations from and modifications to existing SOPs in business operations. - Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations and policies.

- Assists in establishing a standard operating procedure based on workflow and environment review. - Reviews the efficiency of standard operating procedures in terms of performance improvement.
