How you’ll make an impact • The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Power Transformer up to 600 MVA 400 kV Class design covering different countries. • Responsible to generate Tank & Externals meeting factory limitation, guideline, and checklist as per IEC standards. • Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials etc & submission to customer as per project schedule. • Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics • Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network. • Participation in internal design concept reviews. • Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference. • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world. • Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Tech Mechanical Engineering. • 8-12 Years Experience working in Mechanical design for Power Transformers manufacturing Industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered. • Knowledge on CAD software, any 3D Modelling software is a must. Creo is considered as an advantage. • Should understand Transformer Design, Mechanical Calculations, Dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and cleats lead arrangement. • Should have good understanding of IEC Standards & European Standards. • Experience in winding design is an advantage. • Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous. • Experience on Microsoft office and tools. • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world. • Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference. • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
