Job Description
Overview DecisionPoint seeks an E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer to support secure software delivery, automated pipelines, and environment configuration within a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment.
This role maintains CI/CD pipelines, security scanning automation, deployment processes, and version control workflows for cloud-hosted and CMS-integrated applications.
The E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer works closely with engineers, developers, cybersecurity teams, and system administrators to ensure secure, reliable, and repeatable deployments across all environments. This position is fully remote.
Duties & Responsibilities The E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer will: Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and code integration workflows. Implement and maintain security scanning, SAST/DAST tooling, and dependency checks. Manage CMS and application environment configurations across DEV, TEST, STAGE, and PROD.
Maintain version control repositories, branching standards, and merge patterns. Collaborate with developers to ensure secure coding, build reliability, and release readiness. Support automated infrastructure provisioning using cloud-native tools and IaC frameworks.
Troubleshoot pipeline failures, build issues, configuration errors, and deployment blockers. Optimize pipeline performance, deployment speed, and automation reliability. Document pipeline processes, configuration standards, and environment setup procedures.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, and release preparation.
Qualifications
Clearance Requirement Must hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation. Education (Required) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, IT Engineering, or a related field.
Experience (Required) Minimum 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, cloud engineering, or software automation roles. Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, code integration, and deployment automation. Experien
