com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier. **About the role** : We are seeking an experienced **Senior AI Developer / AI Engineer** with **6+ years of experience** in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI-driven solutions.

This role will focus on intelligent automation, document intelligence, knowledge management, and enterprise-scale AI applications that drive operational efficiency and business value across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities** + Design, develop, and implement AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for enterprise business applications. + Build and deploy applications leveraging **Large Language Models (LLMs)** , **Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)** architectures, **vector databases** , and **agent-based frameworks** .

+ Develop AI-powered solutions for document processing, information extraction, knowledge management, recommendation systems, virtual assistants, and conversational AI applications. + Integrate AI applications with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.

+ Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, domain experts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions. + Support the deployment, optimization, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI applications in production environments.

+ Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and adoption across the organization. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

+ Minimum of **6 years** of experience in software development, AI/ML, or related technical disciplines. + Strong proficiency in **Python** , **Machine Learning** , **Natural Language Processing (NLP)** , and **Generative AI** technologies.

+ Hands-on experience with frameworks and platforms such as **OpenAI** , **Google Gemini** , **LangChain** , **LangGraph** , **LlamaIndex** , and vector databases including **FAISS** , **Pinecone** , **ChromaDB** , or similar technologies.

+ Experience developing applications using **FastAPI** , **RESTful APIs** , **SQL** , and cloud platforms such as **Azure** , **AWS** , or **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** . + Strong understanding of **RAG** architectures, **embeddings** , **semantic search** , **AI agents** , and agent orchestration frameworks.

+ Experience with AI solution deployment, model evaluation, monitoring, and performance optimization. **Preferred Qualifications** + Degree in **Mechanical Engineering** or experience within the **HVAC** , **refrigeration** , or **industrial engineering** domains.

+ Familiarity with engineering systems and components such as **Compressors** , **Motors** , **Heat Exchangers** , **Valves** , and related technical products.

+ Experience working with engineering data, **Bills of Materials (BOMs)** , product structures, technical documentation, and **product lifecycle management (PLM)** systems. + Experience developing AI solutions for engineering, manufacturing, product development, or digital transformation initiatives.
