Job Description

Corporate Credit Analyst | $130,000-$140,000 + Super + Bonus Important: This role requires previous corporate/institutional lending or asset/equipment finance experience, with a proven DLA. A DLA of at least $500K is imperative. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Corporate Credit Analyst to join a global financial services organisation specialising in asset and equipment finance. Based in Sydney CBD, this is a newly created position within a growing Corporate Credit team, supporting $5m-$80m transactions across a range of established industries. The Opportunity Reporting to an experienced Credit Manager, you will assess complex corporate credit applications and provide recommendations that balance commercial objectives with sound risk management. You will be responsible for: • Conducting detailed financial analysis and credit assessments for new and existing corporate customers • Analysing financial, asset, market, security, legal and contractual risks • Preparing high-quality credit applications and recommendations • Presenting applications to senior credit decision-makers and Credit Committees • Assessing customer, vendor and dealer relationships and their associated risks • Reviewing and monitoring customer and counterparty credit profiles • Working closely with Sales, Account Management, Risk, Legal, Asset Management and other internal stakeholders • Supporting credit policy, risk management and process improvements • Providing credit and risk guidance to stakeholders across the business What We're Looking For The key requirement is genuine corporate/institutional lending or asset/equipment finance experience , ideally within a vendor or dealer finance environment. You will have: • At least 5 years' relevant experience in asset/equipment finance, corporate lending or institutional lending • Proven DLA experience of at least $500K - imperative • Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills • Experience assessing larger and more complex corporate transactions • Strong understanding of credit risk, security and documentation • Strong PPSR knowledge and application • The ability to write clear, commercially minded credit papers • Confidence presenting credit recommendations to Credit Committees • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • The ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline is preferred.
