Job Description

Job Summary The purpose of the role is to • Maximize new business/acquisition/referral opportunities and deepening existing customer relationships to the specified service standards for the Priority Clients segment Implementation and oversight of the below individual responsibilities: • To conduct a professional, consultative financial analysis and profiling session with customers to meet their financial needs/objectives. • To foster and deepen customer relationships by providing regular market information updates and trend analysis on local and international financial products. • In consultation with the PB team manager/ branch manager/ PTL, draw up monthly plans for achieving/exceeding sales targets to meet new business and customer acquisition goals • To participate in marketing and promotional activities for customer acquisition. • To source and call on individual prospects • To provide quality, efficient after-sales services • To manage anti-attrition and retention of clients • To organise and conduct sales presentations to groups, clubs, associations, companies and other organisations. • To solicit referrals from other parts of SCB eg. RMs from C&I, staff, etc. • To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit. • To ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities. Strategy • Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role. Business • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and NRI markets. Processes • Responsible for executing RM duties including driving revenue and onboarding new clients.. People & Talent • Lead through example and build appropriate culture and values. Risk Management • To execute the trade as per Bank's laid down policies and processes, and render banking services as per Bank's guidelines. Governance • Awareness and adherence of the RNF regulatory framework. Regulatory & Business Conduct • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Other Responsibilities • Embed Here for good and Group's brand and values in SCB SINGAPORE/PRIORITY BANKING/GSAM Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats); Our Ideal Candidate • 4+ years experienced Relationship Manager within banking, focused on acquiring and managing Priority / HNW individual clients. • They have strong technical knowledge of consumer banking and wealth products (Treasury, Equities, Funds, Insurance, etc.) and can deliver professional, consultative financial analysis to meet client needs. • The candidate combines a strong sales and acquisition mindset with disciplined portfolio management, anti attrition and retention. • They consistently demonstrate high ethical standards and full adherence to regulatory and conduct requirements.
