Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our team, with a strong emphasis on translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable documentation. The ideal candidate will excel at gathering and understanding technical needs, drafting comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Product Documentation (PRD), and detailed API documentation. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a meticulous approach towards documentation to ensure alignment between engineering, product, and business teams. As a natural leader, TPM should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, TPM should be motivated by a desire to optimise productivity and nurture product success from inception to completion Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, clinical, operations) and external stakeholders (client SPOCs) to gather, analyse, and understand functional and technical requirements, for both the member-facing app experience and the admin experience. - Draft and maintain detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD) that outline project scope, objectives, and requirements. - Create and update Product Documentation (PRD) to clearly communicate features, specifications, and use cases to internal and external audiences. - Develop and maintain comprehensive API documentation, including endpoints, parameters, request/response examples, and usage guidelines, ensuring clarity for developers and third-party integrators. - Own requirements and release documentation for our mobile (iOS, Android) and web applications, including platform-specific behaviour, release notes, and app store submission requirements. - Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring documentation is accessible, accurate, and meets the needs of all stakeholders. - Drive the documentation process from inception to delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to company standards. - Partner with engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and refine requirements as needed. - Manage documentation timelines and deliverables, aligning with project milestones and release schedules via project plans and trackers. - Continuously improve documentation processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and clarity. - Act as the voice of the end user - partner with support, care coordination and customer success to translate user feedback and usage data into product improvements. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Technical Writing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of experience in technical product management or business analysis, including at least 2 years working on consumer-facing applications - native mobile (iOS and Android) and web. - Proven expertise in drafting BRDs, PRDs, and API documentation with a strong focus on clarity, structure, and detail. - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical concepts (e.g., APIs, system architecture, data flows diagrams etc). - Experience in a B2B2C environment, where the buyer and the end user are different, with an understanding of how to balance the needs of both. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining complex technical ideas in simple terms. - Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. - Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Swagger, Postman, Markdown, or similar). - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Skills : - Experience in healthtech, insurtech or employee benefits - familiarity with teleconsultation, diagnostics or care-coordination workflows. - Familiarity with product analytics and engagement tools (Mixpanel, CleverTap, Amplitude, Firebase or similar) to track adoption and app usage. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Experience with data analysis and reporting. - Experience in stakeholder management. - Strong understanding in APIs and mechanisms of data exchange. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Basic understanding of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) - Strong articulation and ability to learn new things.
