Japanese-speaking Regional Client Relations Executive

Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese management at existing clients across Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Identify and understand customers' challenges and unmet needs, and uncover new business opportunities through close engagement.

Work with internal sales and technical teams to develop and propose solutions that address customers' needs and create added value. Engage with clients through appropriate relationship-building activities, including business meetings, meals, and golf when appropriate.

Share customer insights and potential business opportunities with relevant internal teams to support business development.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field.

Proficient in Japanese, with the ability to navigate Japanese business culture, including communication norms, relationship management practices, and decision-making processes, to effectively engage Japanese-speaking clients and deliver a high standard of client service Minimum 3 years of experience in a client or customer-facing role.

Warm and personable, with the ability to naturally build rapport and earn trust and goodwill from clients Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients Ability to identify customer challenges and needs and translate them into potential business opportunities Willing and able to travel overseas frequently for business purposes Comfortable participating in relationship-building activities, including business meals and golf when required We regretthat only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
