Sr. Mechanical Designer (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Sr. Mechanical Designer Summary Help develop advanced integrated assembly, inspection, and welding systems to automate manufacturing in the Automotive Sector. Responsibilities • Design mechanical systems and complete machines involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components using Solidworks • Complete engineering calculations and analysis for all systems • Work with whole team to diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, and develop solutions • Communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues with respect to all aspects of ongoing projects Qualifications • Post-secondary degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent • Minimum 8+ years of mechanical design experience • Relevant mechanical design experience in an industrial setting • Experience designing pneumatics • Advanced knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD
