Kroll - Senior Manager - Fund Solutions & Restructuring

Role Overview: This position involves assisting in the delivery of the Firm's Fund Solutions and Restructuring services based in Mumbai and/or Delhi. Typical assignments include participating in fund and restructuring advisory, asset wind down support, and asset management projects. Our Fund Solutions and Restructuring professionals serve as financial advisors to fund managers, companies, financial sponsors, lenders, creditors, and other interested parties in special and distressed situations across virtually every industry throughout the business life cycle. As a Senior Manager, Fund Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting complex fund liquidation and wind-down engagements across jurisdictions. This role will collaborate closely with global teams in the U.S., Europe, and APAC to manage, lead, and deliver high-quality solutions to asset managers, fund administrators, and institutional investors navigating end-of-life fund scenarios. Key Responsibilities: - Support global teams in managing fund operations, including accounting, taxation, legal, and investor relations, primarily in end-of-life situations for global funds. - Work on asset management, financial analysis, NAV workings, and exit-related strategies for funds. - Coordinate with multiple teams across Kroll to ensure deadlines are met and proactively communicate progress with external stakeholders. - Review the work of junior team members, manage workflow, and ensure timely project delivery. - Review fund documentation, such as LPAs and IMs, to identify constraints and obligations. - Draft and present liquidation strategy memos, investor updates, and board-level communications. - Oversee the efficient progression of a portfolio of Fund Solutions and Restructuring projects. - Build and maintain professional relationships with fund managers, financial sponsors, creditors, asset agents, and solicitors. Requirements: - At least 6 to 7 years of relevant experience. - Relevant degree, achieving 2:1 or equivalent. - A relevant accounting or investment qualification is preferred. - Strong hold on accounting and financial concepts, including valuation concepts and fund structures like master/feeder, management fee, and carry. - Ability to interpret foreign rules and regulations and work in regulated environments like SEC, Cayman, and Mauritius. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to lead a team of Senior Associates and Analysts. - Understanding of public and private databases like Pitchbook, Preqin, and Capital IQ is a plus.
